Metamorphosis Retreat 2027

Nine days on a working ranch in the Mexican highlands. February 26 – March 6, 2027. Thirty guests, never more.

A caterpillar doesn't add wings. It dissolves, then rebuilds. We don't come to the ranch to add anything — we come to put things down. Most of us are still carrying a version of ourselves we outgrew years ago, and nine days without the usual noise is long enough to notice it and set it down. The week runs as one arc in nine parts. The first days are slow on purpose, intensity peaks mid-week, and the last stretch is for integration, so nobody leaves raw.

The nine days

Landing — staggered arrivals, a ranch orientation walk, and an opening circle where everyone offers one word for the week.
Rooting — sunrise movement on the lawn, a silent walking meditation, and your first hours with the horses.
Release — a hike to the falls, journaling on a single question, the first reading circle, and a fire ceremony at dusk.
Stillness — the cocoon day. Silence until lunch, yoga nidra, hammocks, and the deepest rest of the week.
Nourishment — a gentle ride, then a cooking class with the ranch chef: tortillas by hand, mole from the base up, salsas built on what came out of the garden. Dinner is the whole evening.
The Edge — adventure day. A long trail ride into the highlands, a packed lunch, and one deliberate step past comfortable.
Connection — partner breathwork and witnessing practice, a connection circle, and a second fire — this one for stories rather than release.
Becoming — a sunrise ride on an early-week route so you feel the difference in yourself. Vision work, and a letter we mail you three months from now.
Flight — closing circle: the word you arrived with, and the word you're leaving with. The buffalo drum again. Then unhurried goodbyes.

Who you'll be with

Five of us are on the ranch the whole nine days.

Nance — Wholistic Rebirth. Sixteen years of therapeutic massage and myofascial release, held together with conscious breath and the rhythm of the buffalo drum. Her work meets stress, emotional holding and life transitions with presence rather than force. Montréal-born, Charlotte-based. She opens the retreat on night one and closes it on day nine.

Eric — Sacred Forge Healing. An angelic reader with a gentle way of naming the thing you have been avoiding. He leads two group reading circles, one on release and one on connection, and takes private one-on-one readings across the nine days.

Ophelia — your host. She built the week, opens it on day one, runs the highland day, and is on the ranch the whole time if you need anything.

The in-house chef. Every meal of the week and the cooking classes. Exquisite Mexican cooking made from scratch — nothing arrives in a packet.

The ranch riding expert. Horsemanship, equine grounding work, and every trail ride from the first slow morning to the highland excursion on day six.

Booking and payment

Early-bird pricing ends October 31, 2026. Book on or before that date and the retreat is $3,600 all-inclusive.

Pay in full — $3,600. One payment at checkout, nothing further due.
Deposit — $1,000. Holds your seat. The remaining $2,600 is invoiced separately ahead of departure.
